Hi,
You can surely pursue this course but before that, you need to complete your 10+2 from a recognized board of education like CBSE, ICSE or equivalent. You cannot pursue the course right after 10th.

Hello Simran,
It's indeed very heartening to see that you have already set a goal for yourself. Half the battle is won. But, normally, for admission to Ph.D, the basic eligibility is to have PG in this subject. Of course, there are some institutions which give admission to integrated PG+Ph.D course. TIFR is one such. But you need to find out if it is offering subject of your choice.

Your selection in FTII is completely based on your interest, dedication and most importantly your knowledge about each and every detail about the medium. For preparation there are different books I would suggest you to go through the Manorama Yearbook 2017 for current affairs and general knowledge. For books for film studies you can refer to Film Art and some other books like How to read a film. Also internet can help you the most like referring to websites giving information on films and YouTube videos. Finally your dedication and hard work will help you the most.

These were often biologists or veterinarians who held various roles until they eventually rose to director after many years of service and leadership. To be sure, many current (and probably future) zoo directors took this route. However the times are changing.
Managing a zoo is an increasingly complex undertaking. Beyond overseeing a staff of hundreds, zoo directors are also tasked with leading international conservation efforts, overseeing enormous budgets and varied revenue streams (i.e. tickets, concessions, membership, gifts,
