The three options are good in their own areas. After making a career in modeling, you may choose acting. But for acting and direction, you should go through professional education and training. You need patience to pursue these career choices. After becoming a good actor, you may be a celebrity model. After acting, you can choose to be a director. All these are related to each other. You ask yourself about your strengths and weaknesses. And go ahead.

Hi Sanchaita,
Economics and history are completely academic subjects, while film making and direction is altogether a creative field. To make a career in film making is a challenging task but highly rewarding. Since the fields asked in comparison are completely different in nature, it is your call to decide whether you want to make your career in academics or a creative field like film making.

In India, we see FTII-Pune as the best as it is directly related to movies and associated works. I am not suggesting any private institution though as there are many like Symbiosis and Amity for that.
