The placement scenario for Disaster Management at TISS Mumbai appears quite promising. On average, the package is about INR 27.22 LPA; the highest one goes to as much as INR 49 LPA. Around 70% of students get placed. Major recruiters are Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, and NGOs and Government Organizations. Practical training, coupled with internships, bolsters employability in disaster management. Overall, TISS lends strong support to placements; hence, there is robust return on investment for its students.

You cannot pursue the MBA in Disaster Management at Nalanda University through distance learning. Currently, every programme at Nalanda is residential; all its courses require students to be physically present on campus.This policy has been adapted in accordance with the university's founding belief in providing an immersive education that is experiential, such as going out to industry visits and using other active learning approaches among other things. Hence, it means that for anyone who wants to pursue this course, they will have to attend on-site classes.
