The minimum duration of distance B.Ed is two years and can be completed in maximum of 5 years. Hence, distance B.Ed course of one-year duration is not available.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed (Distance) of BRAOU is given below. Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either BA / B.Sc / B.Com. / BCA / B.Sc (Home Science)/ BBM and/or the Masters Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities (relevant subject of Pedagogy) at the time of submitting the application for B.Ed. Entrance Test. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in B.E/B.Tech. Ed course is similar to the regular B.Ed course. The total duration of the distance B.Ed course is two years and the candidates will be given a maximum of five years to complete the course.
