The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course.
Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognized by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course.

Eligibility for Admission:-A pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern. Candidates having cross major subjects in P. G. Degree are not eligible. Candidate having a direct U. G. , Degree (without +2 qualification), candidates having a direct P. G. Degree (without U. G. Degree) are not eligible. Admission will be made after written entrance examination.
