Candidates who have applied for admission are now required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 will be conducted on May 8. Admit cards for the same have been released on April 30, 2022. Candidates can download the IGNOU B.Ed 2022 admit card from the official website of the university by entering their nine-digit enrolment number. Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU offers a B.Ed programme to students based on merits obtained by the students in the entrance exam conducted by the university at different centres established all over India. IGNOU B.Ed admissions are based on certain eligibility criteria whereby a student must hold a Graduate degree in any teaching discipline and also should have a teaching experience or must be an NCTE recognised teacher at an Institute. Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Generally the fees for 1 year of B.Ed in a government college can be between 10000 to 15000, now it can also be different for different government college. From this point of view B.Ed is not a very expensive course. But for B.Ed from a government college, it is a matter that to get admission in B.Ed in a good government college, you need to pass the entrance exam of B.Ed with good marks. Many universities take entrance exam for admission in B.Ed that's why it is important for the students to prepare well for the entrance exam of B.Ed for their particular subject, so that they get a government college. If for some reason you are not able to find a government college for B.Ed then you are left with the option of doing B.Ed from a private college. Fees vary in different colleges also in private colleges, but on an average the fees for 1 year of B.Ed of a private college can range from 40,000 to 100000. As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course.
The students must have a graduate degree from a recognized university under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with the main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, History, and Geography are required to be eligible for admission.
Students with post graduation qualification in Economics, Commerce and Home Science are also eligible for the programme.
Students who have studied cross major subjects in postgraduate level are not allowed for admission.
Students who have secured a direct UG & PG degree are also not eligible for admission.
