In terms of candidate selection for a job, any distant education will not get the same weightage as a regular college education. Try to attend the college as far as possible.

By the end of 2015, the new government lifted the ban on offering engineering courses through distance mode.

At present B.Tech courses in distance mode are not allowed by UGC and AICTE. Try for a regular/part time course if you can. Good luck.
