Only a handful of companies hire BTech students who have studied in distance modes. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and other service based companies prefer students who have full-time Engineering courses. However, other don't bother and prefer distance candidates too. These companies value skill-set more than the mode of your degree. Hope this helps!Read more: https://www.shiksha.com/distance-b-e-b-tech-chp

In my view Distance learning B.Tech is not so beneficial as in that mode you will get less exposure to environment in which there is a high chance of getting knowledge through various friends and faculty, also in regular mode you interact with students from different locations, cultures and minds, you share here your views to different people and also get their views. But since you are working as a telecom engineer so I am quite expecting the reason of distance learning is your job. So in Our country there are many colleges and university which are approved by AICTE and UGC which offers distance learning B.Tech to all those who are not

Yes, definitely distance education is valid for private jobs as well as government jobs. If a student wants to pursue a profession in the technical area, he must first obtain a B Tech degree. As distance education advances, every undergraduate and postgraduate degree is now offered in a distance or online format. However, the key concern is whether or not b tech distance education is genuine. Distance education for B Tech is ineffective. As a result, b tech online education is ineffective since it needs adequate laboratories and training, which

Hello Supriya, oh no. In India, at least presently, any professional course including Engineering, is not available under distance education mode. However if you are working then you can do AMIE, which is equivalent to graduation in engineering in all respects. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shubham, when you are doing any course by distance education, you must not make any false statements. There is a very good news from TamilNadu. They have allowed engineering students to go in for TWO distance education courses that are similar to the branch of graduation AND by passing, the credits too can be transferred to your graduation degree course. I only hope that other universities too follow this path. Best wishes to you.

Hello Premkumar, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma in engineering. Unfortunately these days professional courses are not available under distance education mode. Perhaps you can think of doing AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all purposes. Best wishes to you.
