IMT Centre for Distance Learning (IMTCDL) Ghaziabad. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
The foremost difference between both these courses is that PGDM is a Diploma course, while MBA is a degree course. The Diploma programme, I. e. PGDM is the course that is conducted by those autonomous institutes that are recognised by the AICTE approved by the Ministry of HRD and Government of India. Good luck!

Yes OPENMAT entrance test is necessary for MBA admission in IGNOU. The eligibility criteria and other details are given below:
Eligibility criteria : The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA programme would be as per the AICTE norms.
1. Any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category as per government of India rules.
2. Student should ensure that his/her CGPA should meet the eligibility percentage requirement.
3. Clearance of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
