Distance MBA is good for a candidate who wants to continue working while pursuing MBA. Another option is to pursue Executive MBA, which is of a shorter duration as well. If you fall in this category then you should pursue it. Ideally one should pursue a 2 year full time MBA form a good institute & get the advantage of the campus placement process.

The main advantage of this is fees is low compared to executive and full time. In distance MBA, you'll have classes once or twice during the weekends, and you'll have exams twice a year.
