Hi Niveda,
ICFAI is offering Distance MBA programs like Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management. ICFAI is UGC approved Univeristy. AICTE is not mandatory for Distance Learning Programs and it is required for Technical programs like BTech, BSc, BCA, etc.

PGDM is a Post Graduate Diploma and MBA is Master of Business Administration, both the courses are available via distance mode in many colleges/universities. As far as distance education is concerned, IGNOU is the best option.

Distance MBA is generally picked up by candidates who are currently employed and have work experience of more than 3 years. In case you have financially stable then I would advise you to go in for a full-time MBA as this would give you a better chance of career progression wherein you can take better advantage of the campus placement process. You need to have minimum 50% marks at the graduation level examination & also required to clear CAT admission test) with a high percentile score to get admission into a good institute. Annamalai University is recognised by the University Grants Commission. Therefore, the various programmes that include degrees and diplomas are recognised by the Government and Annamalai University is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Yes, you can explore for distance MBA. A better option could be an Executive MBA which will be of shorter duration and the curriculum would also be more apt to your work requirement.

In my opinion, IGNOU is a good and preferable university which provides MBA course.

You can do it from Amity, Kolkata. According to me, for distance course, IGNOU is the best. For admission in IGNOU, you have to appear for OpenMAT. It's an entrance exam.
