There are about 25+ best distance/correspondence MBA colleges in Kolkata. Of these,  14 colleges are privately owned and 3 colleges are owned by public/government organisations. NSOU - Netaji Subhas Open University, NLU Kolkata (NUJS), SCDL Kolkata, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, MIT School of Distance Education,  etc. are some of the popular distance MBA in Kolkata. JEMAT, CAT, and MAT are some of the most accepting entrance exams in distance/correspondence MBA colleges in Kolkata.

Distance education is not conducted for many programs, especially for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) for the simple reason that they include lots of practical and clinical lessons.
