Such universities are identified as dual mode universities and are successfully serving the educational needs of thousands of students in India. Other open school universities which are accredited and are approved by UGC & AIU are also accepted by foreign universities. However, the commission has reiterated that, according to the UGC (Open and Distance Learning) Regulations, 2017, which was notified on last June, the programmes in engineering, medicine, dental, pharmacy, nursing, architecture, physiotherapy and such other programmes which require hands-on training are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode.

Dear aspirant, Tamil Nadu Dr Amberdkar Law University (TNDALU) is a law university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Established in the year 1997, the university offers full-time and distance education courses in the field of law.
