Hi Milekha,
As per the rules of Bar Council of India (BCI), one cannot pursue a LLB course through distance/correspondence/online modes. Only a person who has done a full time LLB is recognised to be eligible to practice law in India.
There are colleges, which promise to allow students to complete their LLB course through distance mode. However, such courses or arrangements are completely illegal and one should not fall for such traps.
Moreover, regarding certain colleges offering innovative degrees in law (which are not eligible for practice in law) may not be recognised by UGC.

Hello Kisalay,
Obtaining engineering degree via distance learning mode is very hazardous. SC of India has banned it presently. However, some unscrupulous institutions are interpreting SC decision differently. But finally only you will be the looser. So my advice is avoid this altogether.
