No, for distance MBA there isn't entrance exam in most of the institute. If you want to do MBA from IGNOU, then you have OPENMAT. If you want to do it from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and EAMCET and TANCET is there, but there isn't any entrance exam for Madras, Pondicherry, Kurukshetra and Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Distance MBA is good only, if you can read this daily. Have case based approach and you can implement whatever you are reading in day to day basis in your job. You have not specified your work area and experience, if it is related to production, you may opt MBA in Operation management. Further, pure distance MBA does not add any value you should have class for the subject ideally around 8 to 10 week, weekend classes for each subject. You may look for IGNOU, University of Madras and Pondicherry University.

You are not eligible to seek admission in MBA, as Diploma is not equivalent to graduation degree. You are advised to first do graduation degree in any discipline or subject of your choice to become eligible for MBS admission.

It depends on your priorities like placement record, whether study centre is in your location and area of specialization etc. An important criteria to select an institute is whether it is recognized by AICTE or not. You can also check whether University has the approval of Distance Education Council (DEC).
Various universities offering distance MBA are:
- Sikkim Manipal University
- IGNOU
- SYMBOSIS SCDL
- ICFAI
- IMT Ghaziabad
- Narsee Monjee
- Amity University

Both MBA by distance learning and PGDM by distance learning are similar degrees. You must choose your degree not on its name but on its content, reputation, brand image, pedagogy and market acceptance.
