It is an autonomous university. Such universities has its own norms and also government approval . Even IIM, JBIMS, NMIMS are autonomous universities .

With a really competitive market and lakhs of graduates in mba, it would be better for you to go for a regular mode. Distance mba works better for those who already are working and need professional development.
