I would like to throw some light on importance of distance MBA. Distance MBA is generally helpful for those who are currently working and are seeking promotion or hike, it helps. Also, distance MBA is for those who are financially less sound and have to work side by side. I would suggest you to go for regular MBA if you've money, time and zeal.

Yes, if you are looking forward for the career opportunities after your B.Tech, Distance MBA / Online MBA is the best option for working professionals.
Taking this option is all together best , as at the same time you can gain work experience which is in high demand in today's market.
Doing course from Distance/Online MBA from a recognized university has its own value .
While applying, beware regarding recognition from authorities.

The minimum eligibility requirement for both type of MBAs are:
Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university. Diploma holders need to possess three-year of work experience to pursue the program. B-schools select students based on entrance exams that test the analytical, verbal and numerical abilities of students.
