IGNOU, or the Indira Gandhi National Open University, provides a variety of academic programmes. IGNOU Delhi's School of Management Studies also grants PG diplomas in five different specialisations and a distance MBA. Admission to the IGNOU MBA programme for the January Session will be granted based on merit. OPENMAT was a well-liked option for IGNOU MBA Admission, however now IGNOU MBA Admission would be based on graduation marks. The Open Management Aptitude Test  (OPENMAT) is held twice a year, in February and August, for aspirants who want to take admission to management programmes offered by IGNOU.
