It was cancelled by UGC in 2017 I think. But, it was later restored. It was for all distance courses and not just MBA.

SMU changed the way it handled Distance courses, and has been becoming the worst since. I wouldn't suggest pursuing any course from SMU currently.

For MBA, you have to give open MAT exam they will give admission in the month of November and may.
Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category as perDegree with 50% marks in: Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)
/Cost Accountancy (Cost and Works Accountancy)
ICAI/ICWAI)/Company Secretaryship (ICSI)/Law.
Candidate must have cleared OPENMAT, conducted by IGNOU
There is no age bar.

UPES, Amity and ICFAI are some top private colleges that will give you admission in MBA through correspondence. IGNOU is a good government college, but requires the student to pass OpenMAT.

Yes sister. If any problem arise in getting the degree and other certificates, you have to go to university, and for your kind information, it is very horrifying /terrific to go there. Please an innocent suggestion to you please search nearest universities /colleges/institution for your need.

You should log on to their Official Website and look for a nearest center in your area. Then visit that center to get detailed information. State open universities have centers in every district.

As correspondence MBA programme is concerned, you can pursue it from either of any institutes as (a)Mewar University(b)ICFAI University.However, you can also consider some other institutes as:
(a) IMT-Ghaziabad(b)Symbiosis
(c)Sikkim Manipal University(d) IGNOU.

No, any distance programme will not be equal to the regular programme, because distance Masters will always have less value while comparing to the regular programme.

Hi,
There is no such course for MBA in distance mode, but there is MBA executive course where you have to attend a few classes in a month, so you can try for it, if you like to do it.
