As you are not a working professional and if you need a sustainable job profile after MBA, then you need an MBA with higher CAT score. Otherwise, it may be happened that after a huge investment/bank loan, you need to again attempt the IBPS banking test. According to your ability, take a prudent decision. Feel free to write.

There is no clear guidelines from UGC or AICTE for the Distance mode B.Tech programme. So, for the safer side, you must plan your education specially in Engineering (B.Tech) programme in regular mode only from a recognised university or institute.

You can definitely pursue MA in journalism and mass communication through distance however, it's not recommended. MA in mass communication and journalism is a course full of practical studies and exposure and it's very hard to attain these skills via theory.
