No, you cannot pursue an engineering course through distance. It is not recognised by UGC.

It is better to go with B.Tech rather B.Sc. You can pursue B.Sc. If your Diploma is equivalent to 12th standard or you are already a 12th standard passed with pre-requisites. It is not possible to pursue through distance education.
