Yes, its valid but make sure that you work along with a Diploma in mechanical because distance BE degree will not be of any use without work experience.

Hello Navdeep,
You may refer the link below for the list of colleges that offer correspondence courses in civil engineering:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/colleges/distance-correspondence-b-tech-in-civil-engineering-colleges-india
In Punjab, I think only Thapar University offers correspondence course in civil engineering.

Hi Lokesh,
B.Com with majors in accounting and finance is the course which you get to do if you are a student of ICAI.
You need to give only 6 papers with IGNOU and when you complete your CA inter and the training as per CA curriculum, you will be able to get the graduate degree.
The course fees is Rs 4800 for the whole duration, exam fees extra.
The minimum duration is 3-years and the maximum time allowed is 6 years to complete the course.
Feel free to revert.
All the best!

Hi Shivam,
Yes, you are surely eligible to pursue PGDM through distance from IMT and NMIMS. Do inquire from the official websites of these colleges about their admission dates though. It's high time to apply for them if you haven't already.
All the best.

Distance and Regular are two different types of course selection. Regular is on daily basis you attend classes. Distance is you sit at home and study and write exams in the place alloted. So converting distance into regular is not a easy option.
