Procedure of admission in correspondence B.Com.
Those candidates have completed 12th class in any subject are applicable for B.Com in correspondence.
But you 12th class must be completed minimum 45% marks from a recognised board then you are applicable for doing B.Com by Mumbai University.
The candidates who have completed graduation degree in any stream or engineering degree in any branch are applicable for MBA courses,

Well, distance courses don't have stringent age criteria but you are 42 now so it might create some problem. For details, you must contact the college from where you are planning to pursue the course.

Your question has a contradiction. Universities do not require AICTE approval to run any engineering degree course.

Sikkim Manipal University (around 60-70k) , IGNOU (Admission through open-MAT) fee-31500, Swami Vivekananda Suharti University, Meerut (36000 INR) ,Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning (Fee-60k), Suresh Gyan Vihar Institute (This institute is affiliated from AICTE, DEB, UGC and also it's degree is valid in India & all around the world, may be fee is high but quality education, fee-75000Rs. NMIMS is also a good college, fees around -49000Rs (It's education really matters).
Don't take admission in the following colleges below:
ISBM est. in 2016. Fee: 75000 INR
matrix Institute of Business management: It's degree has no validity in India
