Dear candidate, selection process in DITU is completely on merit basis of JEE Score or rank, but in case, your name doesn't fall in our first merit list, then again you have a pure chance to re participate the very same day for merit list on basis of your class 12th boards. Thus, you get two equal and fair chances to participate for the branch of your choice.

The admission for B.Tech-Lateral Entry in DIT for the second year would be done through the counselling based on Diploma/B.Sc percentage. (Minimum requirement - 50 %). The registration fee for the counselling is Rs 1250.

Dear student,
For taking admission in DITU for B.Tech, one should have minimum 60% marks in X standard & aggregate 60% marks in XII standard and minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English/Physics, Maths, Bio, English/Physics Maths, English, Computer, etc. Then, the concern person is eligible to register and after the registration the candidate is invited for the counselling and thereafter on the counselling day management prepare merit of your XII standard percentage and as well as of JEE Mains Ranks. DIT University is a state private university. It is approved by UGC under section 2F. Our students have been placed across various government organizations like Indian Navy, Indian Army, Air Force, UPCL, ONGC and many more. You will be eligible for government job basis completing your degree and matching upto the criteria of that government company.

Dear student, for taking admission in 2nd year in B.Tech, one should have no backlogs in their first and second semester and should have above 60% marks in B.Tech. And thereafter, you are eligible for registration, and then on the counselling, you have to clear an interview of the management panel and then on the basis of the same your admission in our university will be decided thereafter.

Yes Rinku, you are very much eligible to participate in our MBA counseling as our eligibility to register is 50% throughout which you are having. So for applying to DTU, you have to visit our website i.e. dituniversiy.edu.in and at the top left side of our homepage, you will see a yellow color icon for getting register. Rest we are open with registration, so you are kindly invited for the same.

First of all, you should not expect that you'll be placed in a core company once you finish your degree from Dehradun Institute of Technology as it fails to attract any except Amazon which recruits one or two from the college.
Although, association with IBM for the computer science course is an added advantage but is nowhere going to help you because of the quality of companies visiting the campus during the placement drive.
Most probably you will get placed in an IT company by the reputed mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Accenture leaving you with no other option but to go for your Master's degree program if and only if yo

Not only the local students but the students living in U.K. have concession in their fee i.e. 40% rebate. But for that you should have your domicile with you while applying for the admission process in order to get respective discount as a token of proof that you belong under U.K. category.
