No, candidates cannot not join DMI College of Engineering directly. The eligibility for BTech course offered by DIMCE, candidates should have 45% aggregate in Class 12. The admission for the BTech course at DIMCE is based on TNEA examination scores. The seat allotment for the BTech candidates depends on marks scored in the entrance exam and TNEA performance.

In addition the college subscribes to number of National and International Journals and periodicals. The library is under the supervision of a professional librarian and open to all the members of the college. E-journals are also available, copies of which could be made at the library.
