Both Doon Business School and Himgiri Zed University have advantages and disadvantages in different areas. Himgiri Zed University has a strong academic programme, with a faculty that includes Ph.D. holders and excellent facilities, especially in the labs and libraries. Its placement record, however, is not very strong; only a small percentage of students have been placed.However, Doon Business School encounters difficulties in matching undergraduate and graduate students. For admissions, Doon Business School also has a Rolling Admission Policy. Under this policy, if a student does not confirm his candidature within time, the college can accept his candidature later on. The only condition is that the candidate should be eligible, and have paid for the course. In case of the unavailability of a seat for the course, the candidate may be offered an alternate course.

Yes, candidates who have passed Class 12 examination with English and Mathematics as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate. Aspirants must hold Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet for verification at the time of admission. Doon Business School admission to BCA programme is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates are further called for a personal interview round for final selection.

Yes, Doon Business School offers a three-year degree course in BCA. This course is in affiliated with HNB Garhwal University which is a central University. To enhance the practical knowledge and skills of students, the college conducts various activities from time to time such as Workshops on Programming Language & Networking, Live Projects, Industrial Visits, etc. Throughout the course students can take up to six value-addition certificates.

Doon Business School admission to BBA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The B-School also gives admission to students who are waiting for Class 12 results. Students get selected on the basis of their academic performance in Classes 10 and 11. Shortlisted candidates are further called for a personal interview round for final selection.
