Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS)

To get admission to the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS) in 2024, candidates must qualify for the NEET examination conducted by the National Testing Agency. DIMS does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to any of the courses offered, except for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The allotment of seats is strictly through Uttarakhand Ayurveda University counseling. Candidates who have passed 12th standard in the Science stream from a recognised board can apply for various courses offered at DIMS, including BSc Nursing, GNM, Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor in Medical Lab Technician (BMLT), and BSc Agriculture Sciences, Food Technology, Management Studies, Hospitality, and Computer Science. The application fee is INR 1000, which can be paid through cash or DD drawn in favor of the Institute of Medical Sciences payable at Union.

To take BSc admission at Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS), the following procedure needs to be followed:1. Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Science PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) or PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 50% marks2. Application: The application process for DIMS Dehradun is conducted in online/offline mode. Candidates applying for Doon Institute of Medical Sciences must pay the application fee and submit the application form along with the required documents3. Admission: After the application process is complete, the institute will release a merit list based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination. 4. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling and document verification. The final admission will be granted based on the candidate's performance in the counseling process.
