The Doon University highest package details are yet to be released. However, the median package has been released. The highest median package offered during 2023 placements was INR 6.50 LPA and was made to PG (2-year) students. The University has not disclosed the separate data for Doon University MBA placements. However, the combined details for PG (2-year) courses are out. As per the NIRF report 2024, 80 out of 308 PG (2-year) students were placed during 2023 placements. Earlier, 51 out of 296 students were placed in 2022. There is no specified MAT cut-off for Doon University. However, some say that a score of around 85 is a safe bet. Others say that the passing percentile is between 20 and 30. Doon University admits students based on entrance exams. The university publishes a cutoff/merit list after exam results are announced. Yes, the candidate have to submit the final thesis at the eighth semester. The Design Thesis Project is meant to be a final execution of the Design Process under the guidance of academic & experts, professional mentors. It is a demonstration of both, the understanding of inputs received during the last seven semesters of education and also, the preparedness to independently execute design projects.

It is clear from a comparison of Doon University, NIFT Delhi and Dev Bhoomi University for BDes course that the tuition costs that each university has special benefits to offer. Despite having a reasonable tuition charge of Doon University for BDes course is low comparatively with NIFT Delhi and Dev Bhoomi University, Uttrakhand. In the end, the decision should be based on your own professional objectives, financial factors, and personal preferences.

The median package offered was INR 2.40 LPA during placements 2022. However, the median package of INR 3.60 LPA was offered in 2021. Further, the median package remained the same for the year 2020 i.e., INR 3.60 LPA.
