It is indeed heartening to know that in spite of doing your B-Tech, you are interested in pursuing a career in environment sciences. Yes, you can definitely do this PG course and I am sure it will fetch you good dividends. As we in India progress, awareness about environment is increasing and government too is making rules to protect environment. If you are a BE or B.Tech student and want to go in mathematics, then it is not much difficult task. JAM (Joint Admission test for M.Sc) is very useful for us. If you qualify this exam then after BE/BTech, no need to do MSc. Directly go for PhD.
