As per the guidelines of UGC and DOB, assignment of 30 marks and term end examination of each course of 70 marks is conducted, with 36% marks required for passing. BAOU offers admission to various programs at UG, PG and doctorate level. Admission to all programs is merit-based except B.Ed. For UG programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 from any recognized board to be eligible for admissions. Yes, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers the facility of regional and study centres, which provide students with access to study materials, counselling, and other academic support. BAOU has established 7 regional centres and more than 270 study centres across the state of Gujarat. The university has jurisdiction over the whole state of Gujarat. BAOU was established in 1994 by the Government of Gujarat. It is a UGC-recognised university, and has also been accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A+'.
