Admission for February 2023 is open at the open university for postgraduate courses. Candidates can register and submit their applications. As per the official website, the last date to submit the application for Feb 2023 is Mar 31. Candidates shall ensure that they complete and submit their application on or before the due date.

BAOU provides a fee concession to female students. The total tuition fee for BA is INR 5,400 for male candidates and for female students is INR 3,600. The open university offers a six-month-long certificate course in Childcare and Development (CCCD). Candidates who passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination and a two-year recognised ITI course after Class 10 and cleared NCVT or GCVT can apply. In order to get a pass certificate in CCCD, a student must secure at least 36% aggregate in each subject.

Candidates seeking admission at any of the certificate programmes shall have passed at least Class 8 to Class 12. The eligibility requirements can vary from one specialisation to another. Moreover, the applicant shall be of at least 18 years of age to be eligible for admission in a certificate course. The tuition fee for Certificate courses at BAOU ranges from INR 600 - INR 8,000. BAOU provides a fee concession to female candidates and hence, the fee for male and female students vary. BAOU offers Certificate courses across 27 specialisations. These courses are taught through two departments, i.e., the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Computer Science at the university. Some of the certificate courses offered are in Naturopathy, Indian Poetics, Theatre Arts, Food and Nutrition, Anganwadi Karyakrta, Childcare and Development, etc.

BAOU offers three-year BBA programme divided into six semester. Admission to BBA course is merit-based. Aspirants need to pass Class 12 or equivalent or ITI degree after completing Class 10 to apply for BAOU BBA programme. 

Candidates seeking admission in the BBA first year should have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam Or Class 10 with ITI, NCVT/GCVT, GSHEB/GOSE Class 12 English exam or Class 10 with a three-year Diploma are also eligible. Additionally, for direct admission to second-year, students shall have passed Class and have a one-year Diploma in the relevant subject. Furthermore, for admission in the third year, the aspirant should have completed an advanced Diploma in the relevant subject as per the chosen BBA specialisation.

The total tuition fees for a three-year BBA ranges between INR 24,000 and INR 45,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.
