A great choice. but u should not think about placement above 10 lakhs PA. The highest package was 5 lakhs for Chem. Eng. in the recent past. That is not bad at all for freshers. Go ahead. Yes, you can get admission in Diploma after your 10th. Now from this year Diploma is equivalent to 10+2 and in future if you want to do further studies with same branch you'll get lateral entry mean direct admission in second year.

Your rank should be below 20000 to get admission in electronics, if you belong to general category. If you are belonging to any other category, it will be easy for you.

It is based on your income. If it below Rs 1.5 lakhs then you will get the benefit of each scholarship. If the income is more than Rs 6 lakhs, no option available., You have to pay total fees.

Batu is the best for mechanical engineering. The college is famous for its staff and almost all the professors from mechanical are having deep research in their fields. So you can opt for BATU. Rest are not the best ones.

Yes, there are few students placed in 2014-15. Software companies usually hire students from electronic and telecommunications branch. Placement is average.
