No, there is no entrance exam. To apply for this course, you need to have a minimum of 45% marks in class 12th. An aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects. Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as elective subjects.

The cut-off for this course in the first cutoff list was 88% for the general category and Kashmiri Migrants students, 81% for OBC, 78% for SC, 71% for ST students, 65% PWD.

A candidate is eligible to apply for the course if he/she has secured minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of best four subjects including at least one language (Hindi Core or English Core) in the XII standard examination or its equivalent examination recognized by University of Delhi in any discipline.
