The admission procedure for Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute starts by the end of January and is open till the end of May. The BTech admission for 2023 at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute is not open yet. The application forms for BTech courses are usually available from April to June every year.To apply for BTech courses, you must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.You must also appear for JEE Main and participate in CSAB counseling.

No, you cannot get direct admission to any course at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute. The institute follows a strict admission process based on the merit and entrance exams of the candidates.For B.Tech courses, you need to appear for JEE Main and participate in CSAB counseling. For B.Arch courses, you need to appear for NATA. For MBBS, BDS, MDS, and Nursing courses, you need to appear for NEET.For all other courses, you need to appear for the All India Common Entrance Examination, and MGR Engineering Entrance Examination (MGREEE) conducted by the institute at various locations.
