Greetings, The minimum qualification to study BPT in MGRERI is around 60 percentage and the candidate must have passed in 10th and 12th. For admission in the college, the candidates need to sit for an entrance test which is conducted in May. Selection of candidates is based on marks obtained at the entrance examination as well as the qualifying examination. Cut offs vary every year.

It is 100% right.There is no difference between latereal entry b.tech and vertical entry b.tech.If you take admission through vertical entry after higher secondary you have to persue four year B.tech course and if you take admission through lateral entry you have to persue three year B.tech course.
Moreover,lateral entry is not available in NITs or IITs after diploma, if u want to join NITs or IITs then you have to appear for jee main which is vertical entry mode.
And NERIST, SLIET are the good university for lateral entry to persue B.tech.
So,choose wisely.
