The procedure to take BTech admission at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute is as follows:The candidate need to fill out the online application form available on the official website of the institute or download it and send it to the institute with a DD of INR 800. Aspirants need to appear for JEE Main or MGREEE (the institute’s own entrance exam) and obtain a valid score followed by counselling. Secondly, wait for the result and allotment of seats based on the rank, preference, category, etc. Candidates need to visit the campus for verification of documents and payment of fees after final admissions.

As per the report, 1,130 UG students were placed during Dr MGR University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) students was INR 9 LPA. Selected candidates have to pay the fees as mentioned in the Admission Form. The fees can be paid either by cash or through NEFT or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, payable at Chennai. Fees once paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
