Please write about the CAT percentile you obtained for better options. However the following Management colleges can be tryout if have enough CAT percentile.

Well, you cannot apply on the basis of CAT, but if you appeared for MAT, then you can apply for it.

First of all, both CAT and GMAT have different patterns. Although, both measure a person's abilities like Quantitative and verbal, but the content differs. GMAT is an adaptive test, which means as you answer the question right, a harder question will be given to you and if you answer wrong, a question easier or equal to your last question will be given. You can move forward only if you answer the current question. Whereas, CAT is a linear test where questions are numbered and you can go back and forth anytime and choose which question you want to answer first. Let me not misguide you like everyone is doing. I will show you a clearer picture.
*Firstly, Maths is not required for you to 'apply' for CAT/MBA. Anyone from any stream or field can apply for MBA.
*Secondly, every exam of MBA has a section dedicated to 'Quantitative Ability' or Maths. Maths studied upto 10th standard comes in all the exams (basic level). Since CAT is the top most exam in the country, higher maths is included too. So, you need to clear the basics then move a level higher.
*Thirdly, how poor are you in maths? If you are very poor and barely pass, don't give CAT. Give some easier exam instead. If you are a
