Getting a good score in CAT will give you ample opportunities from different MBA colleges. You will get calls from different colleges and then you will get an opportunity to sit for the GDPI for the respective colleges. Good luck.

No, it is not compulsory to join a coaching for any Exam! You can prepare yourself, just believe on you, make a goal, be dedicated and focus on each term!
But, if anyone helps you and guides you to reach the goal then it's not a bad idea! Coaching works as a coach in your life they give you the direction and In coaching you will meet new peoples and compete with them, This improves your skills!
Good Luck!

Not a bad idea. Going for MBA after some experience is always good, but must go 3 years work experience. If you are going for one year job and them MBA, this will not help you.

To get a good percentile in CAT, you need to score well in all the domains. So, I would suggest you to work hard in Maths. However you can get an average score if you aren't good in Maths. For MBA, you can easily perform well even if you are not so good in Maths.
