Junad, it is unclear whether DTU will accept the improved NIOS result. DTU admission in B.Tech courses is done on the basis of All India Rank in JEE Main paper 1. However, it is recommended to check the specific admission requirements of DTU and the eligibility criteria for NIOS improvement exams. You need to score at least 60-70 in your category and 80% in boards for the same. 54 marks are not enough for getting into NIT, IIT and like institutions. You need to score at least 60-70 in your category and 80% in boards for the same.

Yes You are eligible. As DTU eligibility Says :-
60% marks in 10+2 in 10+2 marks in aggregate of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as one of the main subjects from a recognised board. Also the admission are done through entrance examination also known as Joint Entrance Examination {JEE}
and on the scores basis you can do your admission in the same. Well hope You get your answer.

According to your percentile, your rank would fall somewhere between 99933-112339. With this rank there is a possibility that you will get a seat in NITs, as you have not specified your branch, it is difficult to tell the exact Opening ranks and closing ranks of all the NITs as per the branches. But the Cutoffs are very high.

Hi. B.Tech (Regular) admission is based on a valid score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission Counselling. DTU conducts its own entrance test named Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to offer admission in B.Tech (Evening) & B.Tech (Lateral) programs. Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers a full-time B.Tech course in 15 specializations. Minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised board.
