NITs are a brand in itself. The faculty members you get in NITs have a very good standard and also the exposure you'll get in NITs and IITs are a class apart. Even the fee is also very low.
Now coming to DTU, getting into DTU is tough due to reservation for Delhi candidate but this college also gives you enough exposure.

It will not be easy to get DTU at 92 percentile for CSE branch. You can also compromise on branch there as it is a better choice rather than some NITs.
Apply for some other universities also if it doesn't go good.
All the best

The placement of DTU is very good, as they easily attract the top companies to their college and place their students in them. It is a government college.

No, it is not possible to get admission in DTU with this score, especially if you are an outsider. They have only 15 % reserve seats. So you should improve your marks if you want to get admission there otherwise you can go for NITS.

Yes, you can get BTech thorough Lateral Entry in CSE. Many colleges do offer lateral Entry and many colleges don't. Just research into which college you would like to go and get admitted and accordingly fill out their form. Some also conduct entrance exam and some colleges take direct admission. I hope you got the answer. Hope it helps.
All the best.
