Delhi Technological University indeed offers lateral entry for B.Tech in different branches but the websites clearly says the eligibility as Diploma in any branch of engineering or its equivalent as given by Delhi University for different universities. Now whether 3 years Diploma is equivalent to B.Sc. Or not in a moot point. Actually, some States have deemed B.Sc. JEE score depends while taking admission in DTU, and it should be reasonably high because there is state quota 85% reserved seats, you can take admission in biotech there, but your JEE score should be good and with PCB there is very little chance of it.

Hello Masarat,
The seats for lateral admission can be taken as 10% of the normal intake of first year. However this is only a rough figure. The university will normally announce seats availability at the start of admission process. What I can advise you is that try to score as much marks in diploma to ensure admission.
Best wishes to you.

Well, I will not be biased here but according to me DTU for CS is the best option one can have. Jhadavpur is out of the box simply as it doesn't meet the university level that DTU is having.
