I don't know about NSIT, but about DTU. DTU gives a lot of student fees concession, but that is based upon you family annual income. For the current year 2018-19 the Maximum annual income should not be more than 4.5lakh to apply for fees concession. You basically have to produce an income Tax Return receipt for that. Moreover, you can also get scholarship though government portal scholarship. Com and after filing online form you have to submit it offline to DTU then you get you money.

Firstly, you have to pass you class 12th with PCM. Admission to DTU is done on the basis of JEE Mains examination. So, firstly you have to appear for it then get marks beyond cutoff then apply for JAC-Delhi Counselling and fill DTU branches, as your priority. If you get you name allotted any branch, then you are good to go.

I am attaching a link that will predict college for you. You have a good chance for Chandigarh University, but I think you are not eligible for Thapar University or DTU. Please visit the link to clear doubts https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor.

DTU is better than IP because DTU provides good placements, good infrastructure, good course curriculum and good quality of faculty members.
