If your rank is less than 5000, you can still be admitted to Delhi Technological University (DTU) for a BTech in Computer Science. The precise rank needed for admission, however, may differ from year to year and may also be contingent upon the engineering specialisation you are interested in. The most accurate and current information on the requirements and admissions procedure may be found by visiting the official DTU website or by getting in touch with the admission office. The B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering closing rank from the previous year was 4008, which is extremely near to this range. This was under the All India

Over the years, DTU has performed better than many colleges in terms of placements. As per Shiksha verified review the university is rated 4.3/5 in Value for Money. The ROI per person has not declined till now. Hence, getting admission to this college has more perks than disadvantages. Outstation or not, the placements are completely based on the student's skills. Hence increase in competition has no much significant impact on the opportunities the university creates for students.

According to the Delhi Technological University Placement report 2023, the highest package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 82.05 LPA and INR 51.03 LPA, respectively. For the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students during the 2023 placements was INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. According to me, you should go for DTU. NSUT is acknowledged for CSE. ECE at DTU will be a better option.

Admission process is simple - Qualify 10+2 from the Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks.Admission to the programme will be given based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main exam. The counselling session will be conducted by JAC which will allot seats as per the ranking and the availability of seats. You can visit the website more information.

No, candidates cannot get admission to DTU without appearing for JEE Main as the DTU BTech counselling is done through JAC Delhi. The basic criteria for admission to BTech is appearing for JEE Mains. To get into DTU, candidates must score decent marks or at least around 220 or above marks in JEE Mains. The only way to get into DTU without appearing for JEE Main is by taking a lateral entry admission to BTech second year. In order to do this, candidates must complete a Polytechnic course of two years and then appear for an entrance exam (not JEE Main but this exam will give you entry in DTU's second year).
