No, candidates cannot get admission to DTU without appearing for JEE Main as the DTU BTech counselling is done through JAC Delhi. The basic criteria for admission to BTech is appearing for JEE Mains. To get into DTU, candidates must score decent marks or at least around 220 or above marks in JEE Mains. The only way to get into DTU without appearing for JEE Main is by taking a lateral entry admission to BTech second year. In order to do this, candidates must complete a Polytechnic course of two years and then appear for an entrance exam (not JEE Main but this exam will give you entry in DTU's second year).

For top branches in DTU your JEE Mains rank must be under 2800 rank, or you can say more than 99.8 percentile score. However, since you mentioned that you belong to the SC category, there is a relaxation of 10% of marks for SC/ST category candidates. So, you might get admission into DTU with 75 percentile in JEE Mains under the SC category. But please note that this is just an estimate and the actual cutoffs may vary every year depending on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, and more. I hope this helps!

A rank of 4776 is good enough to get into Delhi Technological University (DTU) for the CSE branch if you are an SC candidate. The 2023 cutoff for the BTech Computer Science and Engineering programme at DTU was 4876 for General All India category students. The last ranks for the B.Tech Computer Engineering course at DTU for candidates from outside the Delhi region in 2024 were 37,183 for SC.

If you have an OBC-NCL rank of 49603 and a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 148954 in JEE, you may be able to secure admission to DTU (Delhi Technological University) or NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) for CSE/IT. To more precisely check your possibilities, it is advisable to review the cutoff ranks for these branches at these universities, as admission requirements can change year. But DTU cutoff rank may be higher because of the popularity of the branches

The minimum eligibility criteria for DTU admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education. However, final admission for BTech is based on the score in JEE Main Followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) and for MBA is it based on MAT exam.
