Hi Arnav,I think you will most probably get CS in DTU I.e. you can get any branch in the college which you like. The cut off goes to around 35000 in DTU. PLEASE UPVOTE THE ANSWER TO ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE ANSWERING QUESTIONS OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

I think if u r delhi candidate
200+ in JEE Mains with 80%+ in cbse board exam are safe to grab a core branch in dtu.
I haveno idea about thapar university, but my experience will say home state quota student shoul keep their score 180+ in JEE Mains to get admission in thapar university

You need above 200 if you are outsider with OBC category.

DTU is better. Placements are in terms of 30-40 lacs.

You need above 180 for an outsider SC student and 130+ for a Delhi SC student.

There is no entrance test for DTU. Admissions are through jacdelhi.nic.in.

Hi Arnav,the college is good overall. It has almost all the facilities. The campus is not very big but its still pretty big. Infrastructure is good. You will have to attend the classes as there are few bunks. This college is mostly known for its placement only. It has exceptionally good placements and ranks among top 5 in placements category. On an average the average package in totality is around Rs.10 lacs with some branches having higher. The CS branch has max placement.
