You can. For thapar you need around 7000-14000 A.I.R. in jee mains but for dtu you need 1- 8000 A.I.R. in mains. My suggestion would be to go for dru as it is one of the best college in our country to do engineering.

Hi Rajan, although the colleges don't reveal the actual numbers by themselves, the students have themselves calculated and the average package was something around 10 lakhs. Several students were offered multiple jobs. The job offer was more than 100%.PLEASE UPVOTE THE ANSWER TO ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE ANSWERING QUESTIONS OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

Hi pavan singh , based on your marks, I don't think you will get CS but you might just get automobile. The cut off for the college has been rising in the recent years so you might just manage automobile. The cut off for it for general category for outside delhi goes to something around 30000-35000. Hi pavan singh, the branches that you have mentioned are pretty extreme. CS is offered to the topmost ranker, while automobile is for those who don't have that good rank. Based on your marks, I don't think you will get CS but you might just get automobile. The cut off for the college has been rising in the recent years so you might just manage automobile. NITs are always good to go institutions for engineering after IITs in India. If you're getting NIT then you should join without giving much thought to it. DTU is also equally good but not as NITs.
All the Best.

That totally depends on your class 12 marks! since the cutoffs there are too high. So in my view wait till your 12th result is out and if u think your rank may be less that 7000 do apply for them! All the best!

Hi Ayan, go to the site of jacdelhi.nic.in and register yourself and then read the information brochure. Fill in the choices of branch in order of preference. Later on you will be called for counseling which you will have to attend with all the documents mentioned in the information brochure. And you are done. Hi yash rawal, I feel DTU is very good at placements as compared to NIT WARANGAL. SO I would recommend that. Moreover DTU provides an excellent environment and it is also in the national capital so you will get a very good lifestyle. So i suggest you take DTU.PLEASE UPVOTE THE ANSWER TO ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE ANSWERING QUESTIONS OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
