Candidates seeking admission to DTU BTech course must appear for JEE Main exam. DTU accepts JEE Main scores as the qualifying cutoff for admission through JAC Delhi Counselling. JAC Delhi Counselling is a round wise seat allotment process for admission to five participating colleges including Delhi Technological University (DTU). JAC Delhi Counselling is held in four rounds namely Rounds 1,2, 3 and 4 followed by two additional spot rounds (if required). JAC Delhi Counselling results are released for various categories.

DTU offers BTech across multiple specialisations, including Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Engineering and Electronics and Communivation. Can I get admission in DTU through management quota? There is no management quota at DTU, you have to score good marks in JEE Mains to get admission. Admissions is through JAC Delhi counselling only.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech in Engineering Physics at DTU - Delhi Technological University has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Engineering Physics under General category for all India quota was 21916. In 2022, it decreased to 13103. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 45821 to 33721 for OBC, 127626 to 88814 for SC, 215725 to 142444 for ST, 30849 to 17858 for EWS. The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 6628 and closing rank was 10716. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in DTU - Delhi Technological University is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Information Technology at DTU - Delhi Technological University for candidates other than General category are - 13239 for OBC, 37373 for SC, 66752 for ST, 7279 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

DTU - Delhi Technological University will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.
