Yes, you can pursue a Bachelor of Technology lateral from Delhi Technical University. Delhi Technical University will conduct DTU LEET for B.Tech lateral admission. Eligibility Criteria:
1- Students have to secure a minimum of 60 percent marks or an equivalent CGPA in an Engineering Diploma Degree.

Since, 27% of the total seats are reserved for OBC-NCL Category, so of course, Your category rank will be used in order to offer You a reserved seat, but in the cutoff lists, the CRL Rank is mentioned so that everybody has an idea that upto which rank has been a particular branch offered, to remove any confusion. Otherwise if they mention Your category rank in the list, which is say, 8000, then the candidate who has a CRL Rank of 8000 will have confusion and approach the institute for confirmation. If you are seriously interested in Design you shouldn't go there because it is not for design it is the worst college one can choose for design. there are students studying there with ranks up to 5,000 based on UCEED because obviously it is it has 80% reservation 80% reservation for Delhi students that makes it worse people who don't even know what design is a studying there so it is probably not a good place if you really want to make a career in design or else you'll just get out of the college with nothing in your hand don't waste your money in life there are better design colleges like MIT ID Pune Srishti Bangalore is Mumbai just c
