No both are different universities. DU is a central university whereas DTU is a state university.

If you are interested in somewhat manufacturing industry then definitely go for the production branch they teach you all the concepts of mechanical engineer plus also teach you to lead the engineers working in a industry. I am also a student of production engineering at DTU, I choose this branch so that I can support y family manufacturing business.
