Mathematics is very much compulsory for DU JAT. You should have Maths, either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). It is compulsory only for BMS, BBA FIA and BBE.

If you're preparing for good-level entrance exams, then dropping a year is the right decision as you can give full focus to study and can score well in your entrance.

130 seats for students belonging to the unreserved category, for BMS and BBA (FIA) combined. So, a rank of about 150 will get you are sure shot in SSCBS. Good luck.
